Delft, December 15, 2011 - Her Majesty the Queen of The Netherlands has awarded the predicate Royal to the Dutch Society for Microbiology (NVvM) in the year of its centenary. The Queen's Commissioner in the Province of South Holland, Jan Franssen, officially announced the award today at the Kluyver Laboratory for Microbiology at Delft University of Technology.
